Subscribe to E-mail Alerts Subscribe to Email Alerts

Public involvement is a critical element when providing people with disabilities the accommodations, locations and infrastructure design that are most meaningful. It also helps SHA determine how to prioritize projects, to determine if anything has been overlooked or evaluate if field-level efforts meet public needs. Public involvement takes many forms. It is required as part of the self-evaluation and transition plan. Ongoing dialogue with people with disabilities, both individually and in groups, works to help SHA ensure that people its efforts meet the needs of people with disabilities.

Public Meetings

A series of public meetings provided a forum for the public to comment on the results of the field inventory portion of the Self Evaluation.
